Sweeper, curve, S-turn. Mountain, lake, river. Valley,
forest and field. Did we miss anything, Pa? Oh, yes. Two pubs and an ice
cream emporium. Put together by linking nine different roads north of the
Fraser River, this DH begins and ends at the Lougheed Highway (Hwy 7), on
either side of Mission. Starting on 287th St, the trail forks
early offering a northern route through Stave Falls and a shorter southern
alternative. The two paths reunite prior to spilling out onto Hatzic Prairie
and looping through Miracle Valley. Pavement and engineering vary, but score
well overall. Whether you’re looking for relief from the plague of
minivans and speed tax collectors on the Trans-Canada (Hwy 1) drone, or just
some quick local action, this largely undeveloped and traffic-free DH and
its five nearby TEs are a winning combination. Be sure to catch it before
you see Little Townhouse on the Prairie.
Riders Reviews:
"Excellent ride! Road
condition varies from good to medium. Try some of the side roads in and
around Mission. If you like a twisty country road with medium to light
traffic check this one out. Caution watch out for hidden driveways." -Randy
